Well we went to this place, i think in 2004. Woke up early in the morning around 6 or 7 am and prepared a walk into the lake to catch the scenery. Lake Matheson is situated en route from Franc Josez and Fox's Glaciers if i remembered correctly... but well.. it was not this clear when we were there. This picture was taken by one of our friends who was there at another date.

But the scenery was still great even when it was hazy. We could see Mt Cook near the back of the ridge lines and the air was just superb.

Now thats what i call a real holiday :)
